Diesel prices down 2 cents

The average U.S. retail pump price for diesel was down 2 cents in the Nov. 16 report by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), to $2.482 per gallon.
The average U.S. retail pump price for diesel was down 2 cents in the Nov. 16 report by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), to $2.482 per gallon. The price is about $1.18 per gallon cheaper than this time last year.Prices were down in every region of the country, paced by California where the cost fell 3.4 cents to $2.769. On the rest of the West Coast diesel was down a half penny to $2.602.The Lower Atlantic region saw the price fall 1.8 cents to $2.406, while the Central Atlantic reported a 1.1 cent decline to $2.396. In New England diesel was down 0.5 cents, bringing the price of gallon to $2.544.In the Midwest the price of a gallon of diesel fell 3.2 cents to $2.494, and the Gulf Coast reported a 1.3 cent drop to $2.304, the lowest price for a gallon of diesel in the nation. Gasoline prices were also down this week, according to EIA, to $2.178 per gallon – a 5.7-cent drop. Gas prices are down across the board, with all regions well below the $3-per-gallon mark. The Gulf Coast came in under the $2-per-gallon mark to $1.926 this week.
