Eaton has signed an agreement to purchase the most recent Autocruise 76/77 GHz generation radar sensors for its heavy-truck collision warning and adaptive cruise control systems.
According to Eaton, the forward-facing radar is smaller and lighter, and provides more flexibility at installation. The new sensor will be sold under the Vorad and SmartCruise brands. www.vorad.com
