LAS VEGAS. Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) announced here at the Conexpo-Con/Agg 2008 it is now offering the Bridgestone M775 on/off-highway drive radial--popular with logging and oil field service fleets in Canada--in the United States. According to the company, the tire delivers superior traction in severe weather or at highway speeds up to 65 mph.

The tire features a tread over 1-in. deep and an open shoulder design that digs into soft surfaces as well as block sipes to break up pocketed water for wet traction, the company said.

According to BFNT, the M775’s stone rejector platforms prevent trapped stones from pushing into the tread grooves and piercing the four steel belts. The tire is available in sizes of 11R22.5, 12R22.5 and 11R24.5 in “H” load ranges.
