LOUISVILLE, KY. Transcraft Corp., a designer and manufacturer of platform trailers, is celebrating its 50th year of operation at this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show here.

As part of that celebration, Transcraft is featuring its Eagle, D-Eagle, Eagle II, and DTL-2100 model flatbeds and drop decks. The trailers feature a variety of new features, including a new formed front plate and 5th wheel plate design; high-protection air and electrical routing; an aluminum, bolt-on, mid-turn bracket; Truck-Lite PC-rated marker lights; plasma-cut drop plates; and newly designed wheel pans on drop deck trailers.

“Over the past two years, we’ve made a number of significant changes at Transcraft and are excited to be in our 50th year of operation,” said Rick Klein, general manager of Transcraft Corporation. “By consolidating manufacturing operations to our new, state-of-the-art facility in Cadiz, KY, and strengthening our product engineering and production teams, we are continuing to build on our proud heritage of delivering unparalleled quality, value, and innovation to the platform market.”

Transcraft is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wabash National Corp.
