More than 60 companies—including Dodge, Ford Commercial Truck and Nissan North America--will showcase products, services and technology at The Work Truck Show 2009, held in conjunction with the 45th Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention in Chicago from March 4-6, 2009.

“As the largest vocational truck event in North America, The Work Truck Show offers professionals who build, upfit, use or repair vocational trucks and trailers the opportunity to see and compare the latest product developments from hundreds of companies under one roof,” said Andrew Outcalt, NTEA convention chairman and president of Meyer Products LLC and Swenson Spreader LLC.

Attendees will be able to drive some of the latest hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles during the Green Truck Ride-and-Drive on Wednesday, March 4, and Thursday, March 5. There are currently 11 vehicles scheduled for the Ride-and-Drive, featuring vehicles operating on compressed natural gas, plug-in hybrid electric, battery electric, hydraulic/diesel, propane, dual-mode electric and stored energy management systems, NTEA said.

Many of the attending companies are participating in the Work Truck Show 2009 New Product Spotlight program, offering an online sneak preview of new products that will debut at the show. Attendees can vote for the product they consider the most innovative introduced throughout the New Product Spotlight program.
