Product ensures trailer seal security

A new product from VSI LLC protects trailer seals from damage and tampering and fits both cable and bolt seals. The Seal Safe hasp and seal protector was designed after WEL Companies came to VSI looking for a solution after having several loads rejected because of a broken seal.

“The unique Seal Safe design will not only protect the seal but decrease the amount of trailer theft as a whole. This product is a necessity for all refrigerated fleets,” said Chris Tielens, WEL director of loss and prevention.

The self-contained design allows the Seal Safe to fit over existing truck storage door latches. A hardened steel, corrosion-resistant surface coating shields the seal from hacksaw and other theft attacks.
