• Hino 338 City Tractor

    Hino Trucks has introduced a Class 7 City Tractor version of its Model 338 straight truck. The single-axle tractor is powered by Hino's 260-hp. J-Series engine, with an Allison 3300 RDS automatic transmission. The 338 City is available in two wheelbase configurations: 144 in. with 76.6-in. CA; and 151 in. with 83.6-in. CA. Axle options are a Meritor 21,000-lb. rear axle with Hendrickson air suspension

    Hino Trucks has introduced a Class 7 City Tractor version of its Model 338 straight truck.

    The single-axle tractor is powered by Hino's 260-hp. J-Series engine, with an Allison 3300 RDS automatic transmission.

    The 338 City is available in two wheelbase configurations: 144 in. with 76.6-in. CA; and 151 in. with 83.6-in. CA.

    Axle options are a Meritor 21,000-lb. rear axle with Hendrickson air suspension or a 23,000-lb. model with spring suspension.

    Other features include a tractor/trailer brake with electrical connections; tapered rear frame; back of cab access, Fontaine fifth wheel; and Wabco trailer ABS.

    The new design was developed in partnership with Fontaine Modification.
