Carrier Transicold has introduced a new line of “industrial strength” cargo security devices for trailers and containers as part of a move to expand its product offerings beyond temperature control and anti-idling systems. All four products in the new line are available at company dealers or online directly from Carrier. (www.trucktrailer.carrier.com)

The Sealock is a single-use device that combines lock and seal functions. It meets voluntary U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security anti-terrorism requirements and exceeds both ISO/PAS and ASTM standards.

The Enforcer is a chrome-plated steel lock with a cast iron locking component that fits around trailer keeper bars. The design shields the shackle of its Abloy high-security padlock from sledgehammer and other physical attacks.

For unattended trailers, the Enforcer king pin lock prevents unauthorized hook-ups. It features a cast iron steel alloy lock and a keyed Abloy lock cylinder.

Truck and trailer brakes can't be released when their air valves are protected by the Enforcer Air Cuff lock, a portable device is keyed with an Abloy lock cylinder.
