The Sleeping Well Arctic 2000 battery-powered auxiliary air conditioning system will now be powered by a Trojan Battery Co.’s OverDrive AGM31 deep-cycle battery. Sleeping Well systems are distributed by Red Dot Corp.
“Trojan’s OverDrive AGM 31 battery is perfectly suited to the heavy duty cycling requirements of the Sleeping Well air conditioning systems,” said Elke Hirschman, vp-marketing for Trojan Battery.
The use of deep cycle batteries will ensure vehicles maintain the power requirements necessary to power HVAC electrical systems, according to Red Dot. The OverDrive AGM31 is a sealed deep-cycle, absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery specifically engineered for powering no-idle HVAC systems. The battery can provide a steady current for more than 10 hours.
“Red Dot has endorsed Trojan’s OverDrive AGM 31 as its preferred battery to power Sleeping Well Arctic 2000 because of the battery’s superior quality and performance capabilities,” said Robert Gardiner, marketing manager for Red Dot. “The OverDrive delivers the greatest run time, longest life, and most competitive cost per cycle.”
