Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products has released a medium-duty wheel designed especially for the Sprinter 3500 chassis. Created to improve styling choices for RV, shuttle, van and work truck upfitters, the wheel option provides aluminum's corrosion resistance, lighter weight and improved heat management for extended brake and tire life.

The 16 × 5.5 J type wheel features six elongated handholes, providing optimal venting in combination with the heat dissipation properties of aluminum. The forged aluminum wheel weighs 16.9 lbs. with an identical load rating of 2,337 lbs., which is well-suited for curb damage resistance.

The wheel is available in both brushed (Part No. 250800) and polished finishes (Part Nos. 250801 & 250802), and is offered with a trim accessories package featuring front and rear axle covers with lug nut covers designed to fit over the OE lug nuts. www.alcoa.com
