Using its new Wave process technology, Stemco Duroline has been able to launch new brake shoe and brake hardware kits for the commercial heavy-duty truck market.

The Wave process offers reduced noise and drum wear while providing longer life. According to Stemco, new brake shoes are preferable to re-using cores and offer correct tolerances for consistent tables, cams and anchors.

Duroline brake shoes are e-coated and stand up to 1,000 hours of salt spray testing, according to the company, double that of typical OEM specifications for corrosion resistance. They are seam welded and use a thick platform, web and base, and withstand 3,000 lb. weld strength testing.
