Bostrom Seating announced it will be introducing a new line of heavy-duty truck seats beginning this fall. The C-Series next-generation seats will include three models: the Wide Ride XC for ultimate comfort and luxury, the Freedom XC and the Liberty XC.

According to Bostrom president and CEO Robert Jackson, “The introduction of these new products represents a significant advancement in seating technology for the heavy truck market.”

The company incorporated advancements that drivers wanted in the new generation seats. “The result is a line of seats that provide improved comfort and safety features and a wide range of ergonomic design enhancements,” Jackson says.

The Wide Ride XC comes standard with infinitely adjustable three-chamber lumbar support, extended adjustable armrests, a redesigned seat cushion that uses next-generation high-density foam and an adjustable cushion length. The seats will also feature an Automatic Seat Leveling system (ALS), memory and EZ exit system, all air powered to eliminate the need for electric power. A wider suspension system with centered shock absorber has been added for improved stability. In addition, Wide Ride XC seats are available with the Motion Master ride management system for extra ride control.

Freedom XC and Liberty XC seats feature many of the same design characteristics and comfort items found in the Wide Ride but are aimed at more value-conscious fleets.
