Chevron Products Co. has introduced two new synthetic transmission fluids for heavy-duty trucks equipped with manual transmissions

Chevron Products Co. has introduced two new synthetic transmission fluids for heavy-duty trucks equipped with manual transmissions: Chevron Delo Synthetic Transmission Fluid SAE 50 and Texaco Syn-Star TL SAE 50.

The new transmission fluids are described as “high viscosity and low pour point synthetic lubricants that provide year-round outstanding performance under severe climate and operating conditions.” The company points out that because of their all-season properties, the fluids can lubricate transmissions quickly during cold-weather shifting, “resulting in less gear wear and drag.”

According to Chevron Products, the transmission fluids exceed major OEM requirements for extended drain and warranty.
