BorgWarner Turbo & Emissions Systems, a North American aftermarket business, has introduced glow plugs for diesel-powered light duty vehicles.

The company said its glow plugs enable a diesel-powered vehicle to take off within seconds, even in extremely cold temperatures. The faster the diesel is able to ignite, the quicker it will run at top performance and the less wear and tear will result, saving maintenance costs, said the BorgWarner.

The BorgWarner plugs are backed by a 12-month, 100,000-mile warranty.
