Haldex has announced the release of the Consep pre-treatment condenser/separator, which the company said condenses, separates and removes up to 90% of oils, liquids and other contaminants when installed in a vehicle’s air brake system. It is available factory-installed or as a retrofit.

Designed for a variety of OE applications, the Consep treats flow rates of over 30 SCFM, reducing corrosion and the possible failure of air brake system components caused by contamination, Haldex said.

According to the company, the Consep’s Automatic Drain Valve does not need monthly maintenance, and the heated drain valve can be installed in various configurations for different vehicle applications. Haldex also is offering complete upper and lower service kits to reduce shop maintenance time.
