Ingersoll-Rand has introduced a one-inch “ultra-duty” impact wrench that it says should help make changing a tire quicker and easier. Made from titanium, the IR 2190 Ti weighs less than 14 lb.

The wrench has a chainsaw handle with a six-inch extended anvil that makes it easier to operate, according to the company. The power-to-weight ratio is said to improve productivity and reduce operator fatigue.

The wrench also comes with a traditional D-handle.

Also new from Ingersoll-Rand are two hydraulic-drive reciprocating air compressors for work and service trucks, the VHP30RMH and VHP40RMH. Both models have 2-stage reciprocating pumps that offer 100% continuous duty. They are designed to operate for more than 15,000 hr., according to Ingersoll-Rand.

Available for open- or closed-center hydraulic systems, the units deliver 30 and 40 cfm at up to 175 psi.
