Hendrickson announced the creation of Hendrickson Parts North America, a standalone division for the commercial vehicle parts aftermarket that is expected to be fully operational by January 2007.

According to Hendrickson, the Parts division will provide improved parts availability, reduced lead times, training and e-commerce capabilities. The unit will focus on the truck, trailer, auxiliary axle and steel spring aftermarket.

Paul LaMantia has been named general manager of the division, which will be based at Hendrickson's Woodridge, IL, facility. LaMantia, who has worked at Hendrickson since 1999, will report to Keith Stephenson, chief development officer for The Boler Co., Hendrickson's parent company, and president of international operations for Hendrickson.
