The aftermarket warranties on the Meritor Permalube (RPL) and Meritor XTended Lube (MXL) have been extended. All driveline purchases made on or after Feb. 1, 2012, will now be covered under a two-year warranty.
“This is another first for these highly successful aftermarket drivelines,” said Doug Ringer, product manager, drivelines, Meritor Aftermarket. The drivelines are distributed via authorized parts outlets, including warehouse distributors and OEM dealers.
The warranty covers defective materials or workmanship when such parts are used on vehicles that meet the specifications approved by Meritor.
“The RPL driveline by Meritor was the first and only commercially available, permanently lubricated driveline in North America, and the MXL driveline is the first and only 10-Series compatible driveline with 100,000-mile lubrication intervals,” Ringer said.
