TRP Aftermarket Parts has released a spring brake chamber for use in all Class 6, 7 and 8 trucks, trailers and buses. The chamber is available from TRP-authorized Kenworth and Peterbilt parts and service distributors.

According to the company, features of the product include epoxy-coated steel power springs for longer life and corrosion resistance; a highly polished chrome plated internal push rod to prevent internal seal wear; 10-gauge reinforced stud mounting housing; stroke indicator to help the operator determine when brakes need adjustment or replacement; and heavy-duty, synthetic rubber diaphragms to provide resistances to abrasion and contaminants often found in pressurized air.

The chamber has been tested to meet or exceed original equipment specifications and includes an industry-leading warranty, TRP said. It is the first of several new products that TRP will release in the next year, the company noted.
