SAF-Holland fifth wheel available for Volvo VN

    SAF-Holland has announced that its FWAL aluminum fifth wheel is now an available option for the Volvo VN from Volvo Trucks North America. According to SAF-Holland, the FWAL is the industry’s lightest standard duty fifth wheel, more than 100 lbs. lighter than competitive products.

    The fifth wheel is rated for 55,000 lbs. maximum vertical load and 150,000 lbs. maximum drawbar pull, SAF-Holland said.

    According to the company, SAF-Holland’s patented NoLube technology creates a completely grease-free fifth wheel, reducing maintenance time.
