East Manufacturing’s frame-type dump trailers can now be equipped with the smooth bottom Genesis II floor, which improves the trailer’s aerodynamic performance and eliminates exposed cross-members to prevent build-up, the company said.
According to East, the patented design of the Genesis II floor is stronger than a traditional cross-member supported design, as the floor panel extrusions--made of aluminum alloy--have internal stiffeners designed to support heavier loads.
In addition, Genesis II offers protection from poor weather, with electrical wiring and air lines almost completely enclosed and unexposed to the elements, the company said.
