Delco Remy now Remy
Remy International, Inc. is the new corporate name for Delco Remy International, Inc. The name change went into effect August 1, marking the tenth anniversary of the company's separation from General Motors.
Some original equipment and aftermarket starters and heavy-duty alternators will continue to be sold under the Delco Remy trademark, which is licensed by GM. The Remy trademark will be added to numerous automotive products.
