Navistar will accept the one-millionth Allison Transmission 1000/2000 Series transmission today at a ceremony at Allison’s corporate headquarters in Indianapolis.
Bob Mann, vp-dealer sales for Navistar, will accept the transmission from Jim Wanaselja, vp-North American marketing sales and service for Allision. “Allison Transmission is proud to be able to share this important milestone with our valued customer Navistar,” said Wanaselja.
“On behalf of Navistar I would like to express how much we value our corporate relationship with Allison Transmission, and what an honor it is to receive not only a great product, but a legendary one at that,” added Mann.
The 1000/2000 Series is used in a variety of applications, including distribution, construction, school bus and emergency vehicles as well as motorhomes.
