The latest addition to Kendall Motor Oil's lineup is a synthetic heavy-duty CJ-4 engine oil. Called Kendall Super-D XA, for exhaust advantage, the synthetic blend was developed to meet the new API spec for oil used in ‘07 low-emissions engines with aftertreatment devices.

However, since Super-D XA is backward-compatible, it can also be used on pre-'07 engines.

According to the company, Super-D XA, which “surpasses the minimum specs” of the new CJ-4 category, incorporates unique additive technology and the Kendall Analysis System (KAS).
