Orange EV models’ inadequate fuse protection can cause fire

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Husk-e terminal trucks. The high-voltage short-circuit protection system may have an inadequate fuse. In the event of a short, the fuse may open too slowly or not at all, increasing the risk of a fire.

This recall potentially affects 47 vehicles. OEV will replace the fuse. Owner notification letters were mailed June 9. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-04.
