ConocoPhillips Lubricants has announced that its Kendall SHP Synthetic Gear Lube 75W90 now meets the Dana Shaes 256 Rev C spec for extended-drain gear oils, making it appropriate for 500,000-mile drain intervals in Dana's heavy-duty final drive axles. This new spec, which replaces Dana's Shaes 256 spec (formerly Eaton PS 163), sets higher standards for shear stability, low temperature properties and deposit-control requirements.

Kendall's SHP Synthetic Gear Lube 75W90 also meets ArvinMeritor's O-76 N spec for 500,000-mile drain intervals in its heavy-duty axles, as well as Mack's Go-J Plus spec. lubricants.conocophillips.com
