Michelin's Retread Technologies brought a new all-weather drive retread to Mid-America — the XDN2 Pre-Mold, designed for improved traction and mileage.

The XDN2 features Michelin's Matrix Siping Technology, which provides traction in extreme weather conditions, and has wide, open shoulder grooves to deliver added traction without compromising tread life, according to the company. It also features a top layer for improved wear and traction, and a bottom layer for maintaining cool internal casing temperatures, Michelin said. Intended for long haul and regional, the new pre-mold is available in 220, 230 and 240 mm sizes.
