Fontaine Trailer Co. has introduced a new heavy-haul model, the Magnitude 55MX, designed to handle a wide variety of flatbed applications. Featuring a modular design, the Magnitude 55MX offers a 29-ft clear deck length in the retracted position and can be easily extends to 50 ft. The loaded deck height is 20-in with 6-in ground clearance, the manufacturer said.

Other user-friendly features on Fontaine’s new trailer, designed to save time, include: a versatile gooseneck that includes all trailer connections; optional flip box to achieve 125-in swing clearance; and an adjustable ride-height that mechanically locks for perfect deck-to-fifth wheel requirement for specific hauling jobs.

The ramped bogie features a modular connection so you can easily match the right equipment for the task at hand, said John Craig, president of Fontaine, with a built-in tool box and storage compartments added for greater convenience. “If you haul a variety of equipment then the modular design lets you switch easily and quickly to accommodate just about any hauling job,” he added.

Fontaine also recently introduced a 48 ft. dropdeck trailer.
