Dana Corp. has released a six-page brochure featuring the Spicer D170 and D190 series of heavy-duty, single-reduction tandem axles.

The brochure emphasizes the robust design features of the Spicer D170 and D190 axles by providing side-by-side comparisons with competitive axle designs. These features include wider faced hypoid gearing for greater strength, integrated systems design with fewer parts, and a unitized ring gear bolting system. The brochure also describes the axles’ larger tapered bearing systems, larger wheel differential gearing, and stronger steel differential cases.
