Todco taps Phillips to head sales

Todco has promoted Charles (Skip) Phillips to vp of sales. According to president Scott Blackford, in his new role, Phillips will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations, thus driving the company’s revenue goal achievement

Todco has promoted Charles (Skip) Phillips to vp of sales. According to president Scott Blackford, in his new role, Phillips will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations, thus driving the company’s revenue goal achievement.

Phillip’s career with Todco has already spanned 40 years. He started as territorial representative for Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. In 1972 he moved to Dallas to become southern regional sales and national accounts manager. In 1982 he returned to headquarters in Marion, OH, as general sales manager.

“Skip has been a high-profile, key sales manager over the entire course of his career at Todco,” said Blackford. “His comprehensive understanding of our business, our products, the industry and our customer base is extensive. Skip has earned a positive and lasting relationship with our major customers, and his leadership skills will greatly benefit Todco and strengthen our ability to meet the needs of all of our customers.”

Todco manufactures and services overhead doors, swing doors and walk ramps for the trucking industry. The company maintains manufacturing plants in Marion and Upper Sandusky, OH, and in Tecate, Mexico.
