Workhorse Custom Chassis relaunched its FasTrack program with the production of a new FasTrack truck for 2007 in July.

The program provides integrated walk-in trucks under the Workhorse badge. By eliminating separate invoices and warranties for the chassis and body, FasTrack makes it easier for dealers to stock the vehicles and thus for fleets to buy them.

For model-year 2007, the new FasTrack truck will be the W42 chassis equipped with bodies from Utilimaster. According to Workhorse, the new chassis has a 50-deg. wheelcut, making it more maneuverable, and a four-wheel Meritor Wabco ABS system. Other specs include new front- and rear- parabolic taper leaf suspension springs with “custom tuned” 35mm shock absorbers.

The FasTrack models are available in cargo body lengths of 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 ft.; wheelbase options are 125, 133, 157 and 178 in. GVWR choices are 10,000 and 14,500 lb. The trucks are powered by 4.8L or 6.0L GM Vortec gasoline engines.
