Hendrickson Bumper and Trim has released the Aero Bright visor for Freightliner Business Class M2 medium-duty trucks, available either as part of an optional factory-installed chrome package or in the aftermarket sold exclusively through Freightliner.

Available on extended crew cab and day cab configurations, the visor maintains a light weight through its acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic and weatherable paint films featuring thick-sheet thermoforming technology, Hendrickson said. It is also resistant against UV rays, weather and corrosive materials.

According to the company, the visor’s material, developed with Soliant LLC, meets the Global Plastics Environment Conference (GPEC) award criteria for “Sustainability and Recycling for a Greener Environment.” The fully recyclable visor reduces the amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which improves air quality and requires less energy and water, Hendrickson said.
