Networkfleet has released a new device, the AT-1400 Asset Tracker, which provides GPS tracking capabilities for assets that have no constant source of power.

The AT-1400 is a rugged battery-powered device that allows managements to identify the location of assets such as trailers or generators. The items are tracked through Networkfleet’s online system that includes GPS mapping, dashboards, reports and alerts.

The device uses wireless communication and GPS technology and has a battery life of up to six years.

“Businesses need to track all of their valuable assets, not just vehicles. The Networkfleet asset tracker gives them the ability to locate equipment quickly and ensure that their properties are secure,” said Keith Schneider, president & CEO of Networkfleet. “This is another example of how Networkfleet is delivering new solutions that help customers improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.”

Hardened, sealed enclosures ensure functionality in extreme environmental conditions, Networkfleet said. The AT-1400 comes with a three-year warranty. Using the online application allows the viewing of all assets on maps alongside fleet vehicles. Reports and alerts will help determine exact GPS location if an when an asset has been moved.
