Mack Truck’s on-highway and vocational vehicles will now include Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake’s foundation drum brakes as standard equipment. Bendix offers more than 32 models of air drum brakes.

“We are both proud and honored to be awarded standard position at Mack Trucks,” said Walt Frankiewicz, president of Bendix. “This attainment gives credence to our commitment to provide the most robust braking options for commercial vehicle OEMs. We look forward to providing the high level of service and support Mack customers expect.”

Bendix brake options will allow the trucks to meet the new National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s reduced stopping distance requirements.
