Sterling Truck Corp. yesterday unveiled a new heavy-duty vocational truck—the Set-Forward Sterling—at the 2007 World of Concrete show in Las Vegas. Designed for construction and government markets, it boasts an updated look, improved functionality, increased versatility and easier maintenance, the OEM said.

The truck is available in 101- and 101-in. BBC dimensions. It features a new chrome grille and chromed headlight bezels. The hood also offers improved visibility, ease of maintenance and durability.

The hood’s shape offers a 12% better sight range than “comparable products,” the OEM said. It is also built from a new lightweight polymer substrate, which provides it with improved durability over fiberglass. It also provides easier access to the engine.

The Set-Forward Sterling is now available for order from Sterling dealers throughout North America. To locate a Sterling dealer, visit www.sterlingtrucks.com or call 800-STL-HELP.
