Time-release oil filter

July 1, 2009
Fram has released its Wearguard filter with time-release technology for heavy-duty applications. According to the company, Mack T-12 dynamometer tests showed a reduced top-ring and upper-rod-bearing weight loss, which can be attributed to the filter's ability to retain the oil total base number longer, extending the oil's useful life. Wearguard TRT filters work with Mack ASET, Volvo VED12 and Detroit
