The Cole Hersee SureStart low voltage disconnect switch (48513) will automatically detect battery voltage and conserve starting power by disconnecting non-critical loads when necessary.

Ideal for utility and delivery vehicles as well as vehicles with ancillary on-board equipment such as snowplows, hoists, and pumps, the switch prolongs battery life by preventing damage due to excessive discharge. It has a rating of 100 amps at 12 volts or 24 volts DC. Its service life is designed to exceed 1 million on/off cycles, according to the company.

The switch is compact, at 4.5x4x4.27 in., and does not require a separate solenoid to control high current.
