Firestone adds six FS560 Plus sizes

Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions (BBTS) has added six sizes to its Firestone FS560 Plus steer-tire lineup. These tires are designed to deliver long wear and low cost per mile for P&D and local hauling applications, the company said.

Fleets can now select sizes 9R22.5 and 10R22.5 in “F” load ranges, 10R22.5 in “G” load range, and 255/70R22.5 and 275/70R22.5 in “H” load ranges. A 215/75R17.5 size for “H” load ranges will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.

According to BBTS, the Firestone FS560 Plus has a deep tread for long original mileage, multiple cross-rib sipes and deep “flow-through” grooves, four full steel belts and an all-steel casing ply.
