Valley has introduced the Odyssey II brake controller, featuring new additions that include a user preset button that lets drivers save their brake controller settings to one of four memory positions. The company said this is convenient for either vehicles with multiple operators or operators with multiple trailers.
According to the company, the Odyssey II also adds a pressure sensitive switch for manual trailer brake activation, an enhanced display panel featuring four green LED lights, and separate buttons for gain increase (+) and gain decrease (-). The controller is also more compact for an easier mount inside the vehicle.
The new features add to the technology of the original Odyssey, including dual-axis accelerometer technology that recognizes varying road terrain. The system features four power level settings and incorporates polarity protection, in case the power and ground wires are connected backwards, the manufacturer said.
