Weighing just 30 lbs., the new Chameleon 2000 van partition provides a lightweight, and fuel efficient, alternative to heavier options.

The Chameleon, for Ford E-Series cargo vans, along with the GMC Savana, the Chevrolet Express and also the older model GM Astro and GMC Safari vans, will be displayed at this week’s National Truck Equipment Association’s Work Truck Show in St. Louis.

Installation takes just 30 minutes with self-tapping screws or double-sided tape and creates a tight seal to allow for rapid heating or cooling of the front passenger area. High-density ABS plastic is thermoformed to create the Chameleon 2000 ansole designednd it is 100% recyclable and also made from recycled materials.

The partition also features a polycarbonate window for an unobstructed view, and a co to house a laptop computer between the front seats while creating a hollow extension in the cargo area to fully stow longer items and eliminate the need for external racks.
