Stemco and Tramec have formed a joint venture to produce automatic brake adjusters

Stemco and Tramec have formed a joint venture to produce automatic brake adjusters. Tramec, developer of the Crewson automatic brake adjuster, designs, manufactures and assembles air brake systems and electrical products. Stemco manufactures heavy-duty truck and trailer wheel-end products. The venture, Stemco Crewson LLC, will utilize patented technology from both companies. Stemco's fleet-based technical sales team will assist customers.

J.J. Keller is now taking orders for its CSA 2010: A Driver's Guide, DVD-based training for drivers. The program will cover the four components of CSA 2010 (data collection, safety measurement, safety evaluation and intervention); the seven behavior analysis safety improvement categories (BASICs); the driver's role in the process; and what drivers can do to prevent “high point” violations.
