Fontaine Trailer Co. is now offering its Infinity trailers with the patented RASR Routed Aluminum SideRail. The Infinity line includes platform, dropdeck, and twistlock container trailers.
The RASR siderail is a one-piece aluminum extrusion that is significantly lighter than steel and withstands impact damage better than steel, Fontaine said. According to the company, the design offers many other competitive advantages including faster, easier, more convenient load securement and greater durability.
The Infinity line is constructed with fabricated steel mainbeams and steel crossbracing with aluminum siderails, floor and rear skirt.
