INDIANAPOLIS. Weather Guard unveiled a new series of work and storage solutions at the 2012 NTEA Work Truck Show here this week.

According to Weather Guard, the Red Zone line is about increasing productivity and organization. The line includes completely retooled shelving, an improved bulkhead, more-functional organizational features and a host of new accessories.

All the shelving, cabinets, drawers, and end panels are built with 18-gauge steel for durability and include Armor Tuf Brite White powercoat finish. The products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty, the company said.

    The product line includes:

    • Rapid Mount shelving, which offers deeper, fully-hemmed 16-in. shelves, tool-less adjustability of shelves and dividers, theft resistant security, and easy-to-reach tie-down points.
    • Improved bulkheads, which include exclusive polycarbonate windows for improved visibility and safety; reinforced steel end panels that fit more snugly for improved cab comfort; Dog Hatch door for storing long materials; and faster and easier installation with simplified mounting brackets.
    • Red Zone accessories, including new and re-engineered accessories that mount to end panels, bulkheads, and van doors; tool cabinets, parts cabinets and case, bin boxes, and locking storage cabinets; new cab command center that is a theft-resistant, between-seat organizer for laptop and files; and 3-piece, modular rolling tool cart.

Other new options include a new tool drawer with Power Pass electrical pass-thru grommet; heavy-duty Pack Rat drawer units for easy access and organization; Itemizer drawer units that offer lightweight storage and are stackable with adjustable dividers; and Bed Rat sliding platforms for both side and rear door openings.
