PacLease opens Nova Scotia location

March 16, 2012

A new Paccar Leasing Co. (PacLease) facility has opened in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The center, a Peterbilt Atlantic franchise, provides full-service leasing.

“Economic activity continues to increase in Nova Scotia. For example, a recent $25 billion shipbuilding contract in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is fueling economic activity in the Canadian Maritimes,” said PacLease president Neil Vonnahme. “Freight volumes are also rising as new oil and gas production expands in the Atlantic region.”

Full-service leasing is becoming a popular option for fleets looking for modern equipment without the full price tag associated with new emissions-compliant trucks, Vonnahme pointed out.

“Paccar dealers find that customers are increasingly looking at full-service leasing as a viable alternative to buying and replacing aging equipment,” he said. “Full-service leasing through PacLease allows fleets to acquire popular Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks equipped with comfortable features without using their precious capital for down payments on trucks.
