Snap-on has released a new 3/8-in. Drive 12-point 3/8-in. shallow swivel impact socket for quick removal of stubborn fasteners, the company said.

With a full 30-deg. of uninterrupted swivel action and Flank Drive wrenching system, the socket is ideal for work on Ford F-550 truck drive shaft bolts, U-Joint bolts for GMC trucks, MT 45 Freightliner drive shaft bolts, drive shaft bolts on school buses and drive line bolts on New Holland and Case IH wheel loaders, Snap-on said.

Features of the tool include laser-welded pivot pin giving it smooth, uninterrupted swivel action, impact resistance and toughness for a longer socket life, and the Flank Drive wrenching system, which provides the socket up to 20% more turning power.
