New family of fixed-axle trailer suspensions released

March 26, 2012

Reyco Granning has introduced the RideMaster line of fixed-axle air-ride trailer suspensions. The new products include two integrated axle models with narrow bushings and three wide-bushing U-bolt axle connection models.

Any of the suspensions can be spec’d for loads ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 lbs. per axle and with customization options for bushing widths and mounting options.

The group features the one-person axle alignment system Rey-Align; full warranty coverage, a TIS-Ready design that accepts any OEM tire pressure inflation system; and tri-functional hanger bushings.

Wide-bushing models include a longer, wide axle connection for greater weight distribution along the trailing beam and axle connections using U-bolts and simple welds for axle changes.

“We’re proud of the whole RideMaster family,” said Wayne Powell, vice president of marketing. “Every model in the series delivers on the Reyco Granning promise of suspensions that not only provide industry-best durability and reliability, but also live up to the RideMaster name for superior air ride performance.”
Standard specifications on the suspensions include bushing options of 4.5 in. narrow and 6 in. wide, underslung and top mount, cast-cap narrow I-beam mounts, available weld-on and bolt-on hangers, mounting heights from 6.5 in. to 19 in., and up to 8 in. of axle travel.
