Widespread hangers for Hutch 9700 Series suspensions

Hutchens Industries has released a fabricated intermediate widespread hanger for the Hutch 9700 Series suspension. The new hangers are fabricated versions of the straddlemount (16180-01) and undermount (16181-01) cast intermediate widespread hangers.

The hangers are designed to meet the needs of those who require a longer wheelbase to better distribute trailer weight while keeping the gross trailer weight or the weight of each individual axle within lawful limits, the company said.

The fabricated hangers are designed for 54.5 in. through 81 in. widespread axle spacings and offer a lower-cost option, Hutchens said.
