Suspension company expands

Aug. 13, 2012

ATRO Engineered Systems is adding a third building at its Sullivan, MO, manufacturing facility. The additional building will house a machine shop and onsite laboratory to meet continuing growth for its products, the company said.

ATRO is a designer, manufacturer and distributor of polyurethane suspension components to the heavy truck, trailer and bus industries.  Products feature blue polyurethane, longer life, free-rotation bushings with benefits that include easier installation, no grease, no maintenance, reduced road noise and extended warranty, ATRO said.

The company said the expansion was necessary to accommodate its expanding product line and ability to blend a urethane to meet specific needs and applications. ATRO has also its customer service staff and added a warehouse in the Pacific Northwest.
