HDA Truck Pride to distribute line of starters, alternators

Oct. 4, 2012

HDA Truck Pride will distribute heavy-duty starters and alternators from Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA) through a new agreement. HDA will become the first sales and marketing organization to distribute the products outside the OEM network, MEAA said.

All starters and alternators sold by HDA Truck Pride are covered under Mitsubishi Electric’s Diamond Gard three-year, unlimited mile, extended coverage limited warranty program.

“We are very excited about this agreement with HDA Truck Pride, which is North America’s largest independent distributor of parts and services to the commercial vehicle aftermarket,” said Denis Bigras, manager, New Business Development, Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America. “Their network adds 700-plus outlets throughout North America where customers can find our products.”

“HDA Truck Pride is pleased to partner with Mitsubishi Electric in this new program,” said Shawn Shumaker, vice president, program management, HDA Truck Pride. “Mitsubishi Electric is a new supplier to HDA Truck Pride and brings an industry-wide reputation for the highest quality starters and alternators in the business. Their solid, extended coverage, unlimited mile warranty will greatly benefit our customers.”
