Isuzu offering extended warranty on 2013 diesel trucks

Oct. 12, 2012

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America is enhancing its warranty coverage for its 2013 Isuzu N-Series diesel trucks sold on or after Oct. 1, 2012.

The new extended warranty covers fuel injectors and high pressure lines, common rail, turbocharger, alternator, starter, water pump, rear drive axle, front I-beam axle, and cross members in addition to powertrain components.

Coverage is available for 60 months/150,000 mi., whichever comes first, or 60 months/200,000 mi., whichever comes first.

“We have a reputation for offering the best warranty coverage in the industry,” said Shaun Skinner, executive vice president and general manager. “Our new extended warranty for 2013 diesel trucks will strengthen that reputation while it provides additional protection and peace of mind for our owners.”

Isuzu’s basic limited warranty for its diesel trucks covers manufacturer defects in covered components for up to 36 months, regardless of mileage.

“Our new extended warranty allows owners to increase their warranty coverage based on their own individual usage,” Skinner said.
